Long term education programs

* To apply for the Foundation or Russian language courses Elementary / Basic levels, applicants must have a beginner’s knowledge of Russian, which must be certified by the state certificate of the Russian Federation ‘TORFL (Elementary / Basic level)' or another certificate / diploma with a notarized translation and a reference from any educational institution stating that applicant has attended courses of Russian language lasting no less than 120 / 320 hours.

 At the end of the Foundation course students will take an exam in Russian language (TORFL-1, an international state examination in Russian language as a foreign language, an analog of TOEFL) and also internal exam in each course taken. Based on the results of the Russian examination students will receive a state certificate TORFL-1 and a certificate of completion of the Foundation course. These documents give foreign students the opportunity to enter not only RSUTS but also any other state institution of higher education of the Russian Federation.
At the end of the Russian language course students will take an exam in Russian language (TORFL-1).
